Hey guys, I am in the market for a new TV and saw this one for sale in the best buy ad. I know very little about TV's and was wondering if you guys can check it out and tell me if it is a good buy or not...

From what I can remember, it sure is.

Best Buy is an excellent place to get a new HD wide screen. That is exactly where I bought my LG. You are wise to get a 1080.

The only thing I will say, and what most would recommend in here, is
depending on how far you sit away from the screen it may be a little small.

Don't know much about Toshibas, but that tv is $580 with free shipping from J&R Music via Amazon fyi

looks like a pretty good tv for the price
im not really a fan of toshibas
if ur looking for a good lcd consider a sony

...and no sales tax. Like Disco mentioned, what is the distance you will be sitting to watch? You can always use a chart like such to determine size of screen and recommended viewable distance for different resolutions.

Thanks, but some parts of my character weren't what you'd call presidential.
