Is anyone who doesn't live in the US also having issues with Hulu in the last few days? It always worked via DNS here in Germany, but now it no longer works, neither in the browser nor on my Apple TV. Similar problem with Disney+, the service still works here, but I can no longer change the region, it stays in the German region.

I also can't access Hulu (just shows a blue screen after opening the app), or Tubi (app opens but won't let you log in or proceed) in the UK using US DNS. I no longer have a Disney+ sub to check region availability.

Vudu as well as Freevee (i.e. the US-only Freevee content such as the Columbo pilot episodes) are still working, at least for the time being

I guess you may need a full US VPN service going forwards

For two weeks now, Disney+ is on hold now, even after I added another Hulu gift card. When I open my Disney+ App, I have to resubscribe.

Is it not possible to pay for Disney+ with Hulu gift cards anymore?

Say ciao to the stand-alone Hulu streaming app: Disney said it is “fully integrating” the Hulu service, which it now owns 100%, into its flagship Disney+ streamer.

A new “unified” Disney+ and Hulu streaming app will be available in 2026, the company said. According to a Disney rep, customers will still be able to buy a stand-alone Hulu subscription (as well as a stand-alone Disney+ plan).
