I guess it depends on the application and how critically you plan on watching.

It depends on viewing distance. If you're 30 feet away you wouldn't enjoy a 20" screen. I'm approx 10 feet away from 120" and I enjoy it tremendously

I prefer Blu-rays on my 60" screen, but since I travel a lot and can't bring my TV with me, I "enjoy" Blu-rays on my 15.4" laptop screen (or larger, if the hotel has a TV with an HDMI port).

In my main viewing room, I would not want anything smaller than 50"

In the bedroom, I am leaning more towards 40" or bigger.

I currently have a 32" in the bedroom, which will soon become my son's tv...when I upgrade to a 40"+

Why give it to your son, put it in the bathroom so you can enjoy Blu while in the bath or on the toilet.

My 42 inches is plenty big enough for the room we watch in.

Just a side note that I heard..... and thought I'd share (not sure if it was in the article you linked....sorry)

Dallas' new stadium cost ONE BILLION, 150 Million! ( 1,150,000,000 )

Anyways.... The "Screen" costs 115 MILLION by itself..... while the previous stadium in it's entirety was build for 35 Million !!!!!!! The screen costs as much as 3 of their previous stadiums...... ...

All money well spent though.... just ask The New-York Football-Giants..... they enjoyed the new digs
