Because I have to have a mint copy, I ordered a copy from OrbitDVD and it was perfect. I now have two copies.

Going forward I'm just going to order from OrbitDVD because they always come through with what they send me.
My copy from Walmart was 100% pristine mint. Not even the smallest ding or scratch. Sorry you had a difference experience. If there was anything "off" about my copy, then I could not detect it.

as far as the price, JB hi-fi is selling this now for $85 USD (not including S&H) and that is the standard price, not on sale. So $50 USD isn't totally beyond the possibility for a sale price. Not common, but possible.

Was your damage possibly due to poor packaging and the box got dinged during shipment? Just trying to understand why you had damaged sets, I didn't, and why Walmart priced this so low if it wasn't due to imperfected merchandise.

That's the part that doesn't make sense unless they made an error on the price. They are now selling the set for $130, although it's out of stock. They have the first set for $150. These prices are rather high and more than I paid at Orbit.

Yeah, my sets weren't very well protected during shipping. The box they used was just slightly larger than the set and only had a single bubble bag on top for protection. Both shipping boxes were banged up by Fed-Ex although ironically the shipping box that was the most damaged ended up having less damage to the set.

Ouch. Truly sorry man. And yeah, I do not understand Walmart's pricing on these. Just lucky I got a good copy of V2 at an insane low price.

Bewitched Seasons 3 & 4 – Why Imprint’s Blu-ray Is Fantastic
️ Picture Quality: A Spellbinding Restoration
• Sourced from original 35mm elements, scanned and restored by Sony Television.
• Presented in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio, preserving the full frame as broadcast.
• 1080p HD transfers reveal rich color fidelity, natural film grain, and crisp detail—especially in Samantha’s wardrobe and magical effects.
• No cropping or artificial stretching; unlike Mill Creek’s widescreen 1.78:1 presentation, which cuts off visual information from the top and bottom.
• Colour grading is balanced, with deep blacks and vibrant hues that respect the vintage aesthetic.
Audio Quality: Mono Magic Done Right
• Imprint uses LPCM 2.0 Mono, an uncompressed format that preserves the original broadcast sound.
• Dialogue is clean, effects like magical “pings” are sharp, and there’s no artificial stereo widening.
• Mill Creek uses DTS-HD MA 2.0 Stereo, which introduces a slight spatial spread but deviates from the authentic mono mix.
 Packaging & Extras: Collector’s Dream
• 8-disc set in a Limited Edition Hardbox with original animation art.
• Includes a 146-page hardcover booklet with story notes for every episode.
• New audio commentaries by Bewitched historian Herbie J. Pilato and insiders like Chris York (Dick York’s son).
• Optional English HOH subtitles for accessibility.

Mill Creek’s Version: A Bewildering Miss
 Picture Issues
• Cropped to 16:9 widescreen, losing original framing and visual integrity.
• Uses generic HD masters, possibly the same ones aired on streaming platforms like Roku.
• Grain and contrast are inconsistent; some episodes show compression artifacts and soft detail.
 Audio Shortcomings
• DTS-HD MA 2.0 Stereo is lossless but not authentic—adds artificial separation to a mono show.
• Some episodes suffer from muffled dialogue and uneven levels.
 Presentation
• Budget packaging with minimal design.
• Aimed at mass-market appeal, not collectors.

As of this moment, only 8 copies left in stock at Imprint, though of course this should continue to be available from a number of other retailers for a little while at least, before most copies are snapped up.

Looks like the second box set sold out quicker than the first one. I suppose that's because in the case of the first, a lot of people were holding out and waiting to see what the Mill Creek set was like. Once the Mill Creek was released, I daresay some people who were still on the fence about the Imprint version decided to take the plunge and make their purchases.

Thanks for letting me know! Convinced me to stop waiting and snatch it up with Gidget in the combo listing.

My copy arrived yesterday. I'm looking forward to watching it when I can find the time.
