According to IMDB, Gregory Smith directed it.

I'm watching the end right now. They gave us the proverbial kick in the feels and while it's not the ending we all wanted to see and not at the time we wanted it, it is what it is and it's just good enough to close that door without overwhelming regret for what could have been.

Shame they didn't find Clark's heart, but if they had found it & put it back in Clark's body then he would have probably been seemingly immortal & would have outlived everybody else anyways. There could have been a few alternate endings but what we got was a very meaningful & heartfelt conclusion to the series.
i thought "haha her husband is her son" but it was directed by Ephram... I mean, Gregory Smith. He directed a bunch of Arrowverse episodes, and Riverdale. And was a supervising producer for S&L and directed a handful of episodes since season 1. David did direct 403 though, the one where Jonathan has a breakdown and his powers manifest.

I'm ok with him dying though, that's a common theme with shows with basically undying characters, they always talk about outliving all their family. So it's not a bad death at least.

I thought Clark's monologue at the end made no damned sense for obvious non spoiler reasons. Took me completely out of it. They couldn't come up with a better way to do that? The CW shows are highly overrated. Especially The Flash.

Loved the finale, felt like the creators must have been fans of Six Feet Under. Very similar endings.

The question I got most was when are they gonna introduce the full Steel suit. I'd always say that it's coming. Unfortunately, due to the budget cuts we never got to do it but here's an early fitting as proof. @cwsupermanandlois

Goddamn that Steel suit is a thing of beauty. Really is a shame they didn't get to use it for more than 5 seconds.

I hated the ending no one wanna see such an end for Clark and Lois.
[Show spoiler]even if it was years in the future. They should have given Clark a kryptonian heart from Doomsday then showed a happy PRESENT ending for Clark and Lois and family and friends there was no need to go years into the future and see all that.

I can't believe Vudu still has this for 24.99 for 10 episodes. I bought the other seasons for 9.99 each on there. Hopefully it goes on sale when the blu-rays come out.

After Bizarro-Doom it gets slow.

Really weird and a bit refreshing to get a Lex Luthor who is devoid of comedy and quips.

Angry Do NOT buy the Blu-ray set

Whoever they have as the head of Warner Bros home entertainment is so bad at their job. I really don't get it, how can you publish a full TV series on Blu-ray, and author the discs as BD-Js instead of BMDVs? By now everyone knows that BD-J discs are terrible at resuming, and some of them have some trick to resume the movie, never the extras.

But at least some shows on Blu-ray authored as BD-J have the ability to create bookmarks. With Superman & Lois, WB chose the worst possible option. BD-J and no bookmarks or any way to resume. So you stop in the middle of an episode, better write down the episode and timecode.

These idiots are the reason Blu-ray is dying. Because I paid 80 bucks for this, and it's going back to Amazon. I bought it for $15 on the Apple TV store, and the quality may not be the best, but it's not crappy Netflix quality, it's still decent, and if I stop in the middle of an episode, it takes me nothing to go back to it. Which would be the same if this set had been authored as a regular BDMV, but some moron at WB said "Let's make it harder for people".

Studios have all gutted their home video departments. There are few employees left worrying about things like that.

Somehow just stumbled onto this show, and I love it. Binged season 1 last week and am on episode 5 I believe on season 2. Great mix of Superhero stuff, teen drama, football, and seeing the emotional side of Superman. So far I'm digging all of the characters

It was fantastic and a shame it had to end earlier than probably envisioned.

And it was probably the most consistently high-quality DC series in the Arrowverse/Arrowverse-adjacent era of The CW.
