Whenever I see Uma Thurman in this show, I just remember her as "Kill Bill."

Kill Bill Vs. Dexter? I'd watch that. lol

Holy crap, absolutely brilliant episode!

[Show spoiler]Dexter should've just taken care of Batista.

Great episode, I was on the edge of my seat. I have not been so in tuned to a Dexter season since season 4. They have done an amazing job so far.

Although this isn't a popular opinion amongst Dexter fans,
[Show spoiler]I want Dexter to be caught/killed by the time they are bringing Dexter Resurrection to an end. Nothing will bring me more satisfaction than watching all the lies come to light, an ACTUALbig man hunt for Dexter, he is on the run and ultimately is caught.

Which brings me to the killing of Batista. Wonderful episode, but I hope this subplot doesn't come to an end. Also, I don't want to spend season two with someone else getting suspicious of Dexter to just end up in the same way. I really hope that the murder of Batista gets the ball rolling on Dexter being a serial killer, and if they are only doing 3 seasons of Resurrection, they have two seasons left to bring the show to a satisfying ending.

Having said that and having watched 9 episodes of Resurrection, I'm not doubting the team working on Dexter and I don't feel like they are going to drop the ball on a third ending. They have delivered a great season and I believe they will work hard on keeping the momentum going.

I agree
[Show spoiler] although I believe it should be done to slowly turn the audience against Dexter. Not to stop watching the show obviously lol, but to make him look more unhinged as the protagonist. Which is where I felt like Dexter was going by the end of season 7, until season 8 hit the reset button on everything. Or how Dexter should have become more unhinged after the season 4 finale.

Batista is a nice likable character, if Dexter would have killed him, it really would not have felt "right," which I believe is needed.

[Show spoiler]I agree, but he had no other option than to do it. Cutting him loose did him no good.

As much as I’m enjoying resurrection I really liked original sin and I’m kinda annoyed it’s season 2 renewal was canceled to focus on season 2 of resurrection.

Surely they could have both going. What a shame it's canceled.

Finally caught up with this after being away on vacation over the summer, and I’ve not been disappointed….fantastic new season of Dexter. Having Clyde back overseeing things and Michael in his element as Dexter makes for great TV. Great nods to the past and some top class humour. I wonder which Culkin was in line to play Gemini?

Anyone feel like they wasted Uma Thurman in a nothing role? I suppose a job is a job, and she got to sleep in her own bed with this job.

Very satisfying season finale, but I agree having Kill Bill in this show was wasted potential she could've done a lot more.

There was a Christie Brinkley listed in the ending credits of the show. Was that "THE" Christie Brinkley and which part of the episode was she in? I wasn't looking for her during the episode so if she was on screen I did not recognize her. Her name isn't in the credits on IMDB.

Since Original Sin got canceled, I hope this show will get at least 4-5 seasons. Loved the first one.

That said, I wish they'd un-cancel Original Sin both series are damn good, man.

Solid finale and I’m sure a second season will be announced soon. I feel it was a major mistake to cancel Original Sin as it was cast perfectly.

One issue I had was
[Show spoiler]them killing Angel so soon. He was such a beloved character and they brought him back just to kill him…

I also felt Detective Claudette was a bit of a wasted character.

The worst part about her was putting on headphones, listening to the same song, and people had to scream just so she could hear. I hated that.

I somehow missed this, I didn't even know they'd made it. The main Dexter series one of my favourite TV shows, & I enjoyed New Blood, although I thought it was a bit of a step down from the main series. I don't get Paramount, so, the big question...will it be released on Blu-ray? I really hope so, all the others have.

It definitely will considering New Blood & Original Sin both got the Blu-ray treatment.

I would check out Original Sin as it is excellent but Resurrection is on a completely different level. I predict it will get renewed for a 2nd season and being a fan of the original series, you will definitely enjoy it.

Thanks, I’ve never seen Original Sin, but I now have the Blu-ray set, Amazon UK are selling it for £20, which seems quite reasonable. Very much looking forward to seeing Resurrection.
