I'm so glad this is being released by imprint because I really wanted it but refuse to ever buy a vinegar syndrome title again after their despicable threat to orbit over The Keep.

Just a note, the 4K UHD disc per the specs says it only has 2.0 audio, while the Blu-ray has both 2.0 + 5.1. Doesn't seem to make sense and is probably an error, but who knows these days...

edit: also interesting, the disc art for the 4K disc says "Dolby Audio" but the specs do not mention any Dolby soundtrack for the 4K, and the Blu-ray has DTS.

Much better artwork and more extras than the VS rdition. I assume Imprint will use the VS restoration, so the DC will come with the SD inserts as well?

Seems like it’s most likely not FIM encoding this one, since David retweeted GI Jane and Last Seduction, but not Jade. Still, think this is probably worth it over the VS anyway.

I did not get a reply from Imprint. I followed up on my original email and again nothing. Maybe someone else wants to try. It’d be nice if at least the specs could be corrected or confirmed if they’re indeed true.

If I were Imprint I would have spent less money on encoding Jade, because I'd figure the sales would be lower since VS is considered a top-tier label and they released it recently in a well-reviewed 4K UHD.

I'm glad with the VS version that I have. Only thing is that Imprint has better artwork and I'm just wondering if the inserts will also be in SD format here like it was in VS.

There's no way Via Vision/Imprint are going to get the missing SD scenes in HD/UHD, that Vinegar Syndrome couldn't get themselves.

Then the ONLY advantage Imprint will have is the artwork. Maybe the booklet with different notes and photos. I’m good on this release.

I have the VS one and seriously thinking of getting this too. Had seen the movie once, a long time ago and was not impressed. Bought the VS disc on a whim and it floored me. Have watched both versions three times and enjoy both. This looks to have just enough new stuff to motivate me to buy
