Horror, for sure. I have just as much horror as I do every other genre combined. The only other genre I seek out is blaxploitation. Everything else I handle on a case by case basis.

My collection is mostly made up of Comedies & Animation, Specifically my favorite eras of film are probably the 90s/00s , growing up I had a lot of hand me downs from both my Parents & My Sister's childhood. I came to love the sort of aesthetics that came from this era, they were often anot closely tied to ongoing movements at the time like Grunge, things from that time were more bizarre & angsty, like this was the only time a ton of these films could've been released by Mainstream studios, like a film such as Monkeybone, Cool World, Freddy Got Fingered or Joe's Apartment could be made today but what studio would be willing to fund such a bizarre & angsty film when there is a great chance at failure compared to say the same old tired sequel/remake (not to say that there isn't good original studio films coming out today, I absolutely loved films such as Fixed or Lisa Frankenstein, its just less common now). Like this felt like the peak time for a bunch of dudes to just mess around on film, do what they thought would be funny or bizarre and get a mainstream theatrical release.

Smile Whats the focus of your movie collection. do you have a favorite GENRE?

Westerns are my 1st love, love subtle “horror, spooky”, crime dramas, classic cartoons, good dramas, etc.

How do you define "subtle horror"? As in which films?
Are you referring to Val Lewton, or ....?

By westerns, do you mean westerns, or spags?

“Subtle horror, spooky” films for me are my favs Universal Classic Monsters, most Vincent Price, and several other actors in this genre, Hammer Horror films, etc.

Most Westerns and a few spags with Clint Eastwood!
