I havent recieved my blu rays yet due to postal strikes in the uk, so cannot comment on these blu rays! i just hope main hoon na & devdas are as good as om shanti om!

i bet 99 percent they use the region b disc and encode it to region a disc
maybe adding or eliminationg the data(audio/subtys)

I have jodhaa akbar on blu ray, the one that was released in france i think, and it was awesome! the quality and detail was amazing! even better than om shanti om!

Can't agree more. As a consumer I would hope that all bolly BRs should have similar quality.

I was looking at the trailers on the newly released eros blu rays and some of the film trailers were in HD and some were in SD. The ones that were in HD are:

So-called Blu Ray rips of HDDCS are available as torrents. They are simply shitty upscaled versions of the horrendous EROS and not-so-but-yet-sooooo-horrendous SHEMAROO DVD versions...

Any idea whether Digital Entertainment can give it Blu treatment just like what they did for the DEi DVD back in 2000?

Discs like that still beat the crap out of today's Indian DVD releases Even though they were never perfect...

There was never an official BD of HDDCS, so it can most definitely be tacky reworked digital files from DVD.

^ I am wondering why those morons did not choose to use a decent DVD for upscalling? They could've used the Anamorphic DVDs. They chose to use the DVD versions which were cropped, didn't have true 5.1 Audio and were PAL spedup (better to say "PAL to NTSC converted field averaged" in this case)
