Came across this issue with the Looney Tunes Movie Collection. It wasn't on the list surfinhank posted on the previous page so I figured I should report it.

Both discs began straight at the movie upon loading without showing any copyright warnings or the disc menu first. Disc 1 freezes about halfway through. Disc 2 seems to play through the whole movie but nothing else on the disc will load and attempting to go to the menu or going to the end of the movie will just restart it.

This set is out of print so getting a replacement that wouldn't also be at risk of rotting is impossible. Hopefully they'll get blu-ray releases before too long.

I contacted Warner a couple months ago about a defective disc from my Superman: The Theatrical Serials Collection, and they got back to me asking for a picture and my info. So I replied... and waited... and apparently they've just ghosted me. I tried replying again recently, and still no response. :-\

Let me honestly make sure I got this correct; Warner will replace any disc with disc rot even if said disc is from an OOP release?

The movie collection got a Made in Mexico reprint alongside Spotlight Volume 2.

I came across this Youtube video a few weeks ago. Surprisingly I had not yet seen WBHV's classic Doctor Who releases mentioned as part of the disc rot problem. Now I'm wondering about checking the other British television DVDs we have.

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, I have to add SilverHawks to the DVD rot list. It involves the Volume 1 set (4 discs) from 2008, and some of the episodes in disc 2 are somewhat unplayable (pausing and skipping).

The 2019 re-release of Volume 1 (3 discs as opposed to 4 discs) discs should be OK.

This is why I am hoping for an eventual SilverHawks re-release onto Blu-ray with improved picture and far-better sound (the original 1986 broadcasts had terrific stereophonic sound).[/QUOTE]

The DVD releases of Silverhawks in Germany are another option.

The problem with waiting, is it is going to take a few years to reach 1980s series, since Warner Archive has so many earlier cartoon series to release.
