The Official "Help Me Get Online Trophies" Thread - Blu-ray Forum

This idea was brought up in the Street Fighter IV thread (not the thread idea, but the general idea) of helping others get online trophies.

I'm talking about trophies in games like Street Fighter IV or High Velocity Bowling or whatever in which you need a certain # of wins or games played online to get a trophy.

For those of us who are not very good at some of these games, it's damn near impossible for us to get them, and many of us have just given up on that idea of getting 100% on trophy games.

I thought I'd start a thread, and we can post our PSN ID's in here and the games we play online that we need online trophies for.

Hopefully people can band together and help each other fill out our trophy collection.

I'll start with the info:

I'm so close yet so far away in that game. I just can't bring myself to grind it out that long for a few trophies.

I'm done for the night.. We should try again when that xx_big_xx isn't on. He has that game down to a science. Don't know how he maxed his ship out so fast. Both games

Yeah I wanted to drop kick both of them....punk asses.

The trophies are for simply doing the matches right? We don't have to WIN.

Well I just got two matches in the book. Three more and I get a trophy.

The 50 matches though...ugh...not looking forward to that as I don't care enough about the game for that. lol

We will get the 5 at least.. soon

50, same here.. don't see myself playing that much

Lets try again soon, I was holding us down.. beer and football dulled by pirate skills, lol.

I can't even get past lvl 7 on medium vs cpu.

All the Medium except for the final one.

And I have one or two hard ones.

that final medium is kicking my arse also. I don't see how it can be done atm.. I think I'm good then 3 ships team up on me and wipe me out

Just an idea/thought on this.

For those who want to do this (help each other out to get trophies), but don't want to have a lot of negative stats put on your account in the process of helping someone else out and letting then defeat your or do whatever to get the trophy...

You could just sign up for a second PSN ID. That was, you can use the ID that you "don't care about" when losing to the other person, while they use the ID that they do care about to get the trophy, and vice versa.

Just a good way to do this without hurting each other's stats.

I'm pretty much the same way. I can't do the spin thing so I can't get past a certain point on the challenge type things.

Only tried the online a bit but I suck so ...*shrugs*

anyone wanna do some High Velocity Bowling trophies tonight?

There's a trophy for get 1 win. I need that one and I'm sure some others do too.

There's other trophies for 500 pins (I got that last night) and strikes online and that type of thing that you can possibly get just in the course of playing.

500 pins is roughly 5-7 games (depending on how well you do).

Let me know.

Good idea for this thread! I've been holding off on Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 for the online trophies just because I know I'd get decimated

Too bad there's never enough people online in the GTAIV game to get some of those online trophies

I don't think the SFIV online trophies can be boosted. The only online trophy I am having issues with is LBP Hearts trophy.
