Default Monitor Audio RS6 speakers (color question)

I have an opportunity to purchase a pair of these speakers at a great price but they are the light cherry color, not black like I need. Has anyone ever stained or painted a pair of speakers? Is this even possible?

You could PM a member of ours, crazyblue. He used wood veneer over his Polk speakers and they came out awesome.

I've heard of several people staining their speakers, so yeah it'll work. These are really nice speakers, and their cherry looks gorgeous (even though I'm a black speaker kinda guy as well)

I have those in light cherry, you cannot stain them. It's a very thin veneer made from real wood. Instead of screwing up a beautiful pair of speakers pony up the cash for the black ones.

Oh didn't know that, well that's good then. Don't ruin a nice pair!

Casual, you should post some pics of those beauties in your gallery
