Default which one would you use???

was wondering if you had to pick on player to use as your main player in your home theater room which would it be?? i have both of them but use the panny in my main room. the sony is hooked up in my kids room with the 40" sony lcd.

sony 550 or panny bd35

just need a little input, was not sure if one was better than the other...

Why don't you try them both out and see?

(I have DB35 as my main player. Obviously my preference.)

Scaling should be better on the Panny with standard DVD but the Sony should have equal BD playback. I use The S550 in my main room. I have not seen the Panny in action though. I also like the Sony XMB and support. I would also try each of them myself and see which I prefer.

thanks i will. i think your right on the panny, upscales better on dvd's
