Speaker suggestions from Best Buy

I am currently been updating my home theater and I need some sugestions on speakers to buy. I recently purchased the Sony 52'' XBR4 and a Onkyo sr605 and I have about $700 left to purchase some new speakers. There are 4 that I currently looking at they are:

Klipsch QUINTET III w/o sub. $450

JBL SCS500.5. $370

Definative Tech. PC600. $799 (A little out of Price range but do able)

Acoustic Research HD510. $799 (A little out of Price range but do able)

Any suggestion would be greatly appriciated.

Id go with the klipsch or definitive cant go wrong with either.

Klipsch...synergy or reference. The Vienna Acoustics are real nice and so are the Martin Logan speakers.

I use this for my center, and it looks as great as it sounds above the monitor. With only $700 left this will eat up your budget at 699.00. BTW, you have to special order from a Magnolia Best Buy.

My methodology was to build a 7.1 system around a center channel, and Definitive had the best selection of products that could be matched with my room set-up. Good luck on your selection.

Do you have to buy from Best Buy (nothing against Best Buy, but you will find better quality and pricing online)?

If you have to, I would go with Klipsch or Athena.

for home thearter you cant beat the def tech speakers for bang for the buck. imo

Yeah i have nothing against best buy but i went to B&H photo/video/audio and got my speakers at about half of Best buys price and shipping was free. Don't know if they still do this but you can look around and find some good deals and occasionally can get no tax and free shipping.

If you know anyone who works at a Best Buy, they can get you a 40% discount on all Klipsh Speakers. I have the Klipsch Synergy 3 series, 12" subwoofer and they sound awesome. My problem is that the Yamaha receiver that I got doesn't have as much power as I would like. Time to upgrade after only 10 months. EEEK!

Best Buy Employees get to use this discount on one home theater system a year. I was pissed because I wanted to get two new front speakers but couldn't because I already bought my system.

For blu-ray supporters everybody seems really concerned about price.

THis surprises me as the Klipsch speakers are very effiecient and don't require a whole lot of power. I don't know what Yamaha you have, but if you can set the crossover to match your speakers and send all of the low frequencies to the sub only it may make a difference. Your Yammy amp will not be forced to produce the bass which can drain power and leave the job to the sub amp.
