I purchased Panasonic blue ray player DMP-BD605 from costco. I do not have any problems watching blu ray or normal dvds. However I am unable to watch vieracast using the blu ray player.
I have AT&T internet as my ISP. I am using an ethernet cable to connect my 2 Wire Gateway 1800 modem to the blu ray player. Under network settings I ran the connection settings and I got the message "pass". I have tried connecting to the internet to view the vieracast using both the default settings as well as manually assigning an IP address. But however I do it, once I press the viera cast button, I get the message "cannot connect. Please confirm Network connection and settings". I am able to connect both my laptops, so I am sure there is no problem with my internet connection. Please help. THank you |

Hello,
Got a LG BD550 and i'm facing some problems with it. I would like to ask you something about this equipment: 1) Is there any kind of problem with the player recognizing NTFS Usb disks? In LG official web site it says that this player is compatible with that kind of external hard drives. Anyway, my LaCie Starck 320GB is not being recognized. When I plug it to the player, it shows that symbol meaning something was connected by usb port but all the options are not selectable. What's the problem? Any sugestions? FAT 32 disks work OK. 2) In my FAT32 I have .mkv movie that is divided in 2 parts (used a specific software to do that) and the .srt files (with the same name). When I try to see the video, the subtitles don't appear. If I run the .mkv file in my computer it works ok, the video loads fine and the subtitles too. I must say that if the file is .avi this doensn't happen. Video and subtitles OK! What's the problem here? Thanks in advance. André PS: Registered few minutes ago and can't start a new thread, that's why I post it in this one. Would please like to ask any admin to create a new one and paste this message there. Thanks |
