Default Need INFO on replaceing batteries on controllers

I have noticed my controllers not last long as they use too. I have had them over a year now. I guess I can get my asnwer by searching online, but thats no fun when I have you guys to help. I want to see what kind of answers I will get. If there is a forum already for this...sorry!

Took one of mine apart once and it was never the same after that. The pictures make it look so easy. Took me forever to get that damn thing back together but the LED's worked afterwards.

i took my dualshock controller apart after my 6 1/2 year old son spilled fruit punch on the table.

nothing serious but i noticed my X button was sticking.

when i took it apart there was a 1cm of dried up fruit punch on the inside of the X button

in all it took me maybe 8 minutes from start to finish
