The Rolling Stones: Live at the Max Blu-ray Disc will be released on November 3rd. I haven't seen this listed anywhere but Best Buy and HMV Japan.

Is this a Best Buy exclusive in the U.S.? SKU: 9565071 Amazon has it listed as out of stock. Weird.

I don't see it on this site...... so basically, to make my purchasing decision I only need one minor detail.......

"What year was the concert from" ???? Post 1985 or so = No buy for me....

EDIT:

I'll retract that statement...... although it's 1990, it looks like it was shot with IMAX cameras, and the song list is certainly some of what I consider their better stuff...... I'll buy this.... where is it

I haven't seen this show, but I did see them on this tour. I saw them at the Astrodome in Houston with Living Colour opening. Guns N' Roses had been the opening band for some of the dates, but I didn't get to see them.

I saw this at the IMAX in Toronto at Ontario Place when it was released! Good show! I'll pick it up for sure!

Comes out on November 10th to Amazon. Just pre ordered it about 10 minutes ago. Getting it only because Wyman is still there so none of that silliness about backup singers etc is going on yet at the point this show was recordered. Now if I could ever get "Let's Spend The Night Together" in Blu I'd be all set.

^Yep, "Let's Spend The Night Together" would be great on Blu. I have it on Laserdisc. "Max" prices...BB has it for $21.99 while Amazon is cheaper at $16.99. Saw them at the L.A. Coliseum in 1989 during that tour. Clapton came on stage for one number. Fabulous show... The original Guns 'N Roses line-up opened for them.

Watching it now as I type this. It's great all around imo. Sound and PQ top notch.

Just watched about half of the songs... the PQ and AQ are fantastic. Without doing a side-by-side comparison, I walked away more impressed with Live at the Max than I did with A Bigger Bang. Now we just need U2 to release their IMAX show.
