Noticed Something Different in Black Book - Blu-ray Forum

When I inserted the movie Black Book in the PS3, instead of the usual Blue BD icon, a small icon of the actual movie appeared (similar to a small photograph). Has anybody notice something similar in any other BD? Well I am going to watch the movie with the wife, hopefully it is worthwhile.

Must have a Photo info like the Games have,some have Music, some just a Photo, some a Custom B/G appear with music.. I always tought they could do that with BR..

Memoirs of a Geisha has it too. I haven't tested Underworld, but that might have it as well.

Great Movie. The PQ is demo material. The color and the detail in one word 'WOW'

AMAZING film. Verhoeven's best by far, and I've seen pretty much his whole body of work. Similar to The Lives Of Others, but I even liked it more than that.

Really? I usually turn on the PS3 by inserting a Blu-ray movie, and turn it off right after I hit the "eject" button, so I didn't notice....

But seriously, this is a very cool feature. Games have them, it's nice that BDMVs are now part of the little party too.

Wasn't it a new update with the PS3 to include an icon or picture of the movie on the PS3 menu?

didnt notice it with underworld but wasnt really paying attention i did remember seeing the BDMV letters

No, the icon comes with the movie disc. Maybe in the future it will also play a small trailer.

Anybody captured this in a video (for the ones with BGM) or screencap/photo? I wonder if it's unique to the PS3 or if other players can support the extra presentation data. I love stuff like this.

I've noticed it with BS Dracula and Surf's Up so far, but Underworld just has the disc icon.

i read on a review that its got dutch pcm and american subtitles. does that mean the whole movie is subtitled? or am i just misunderstanding something
