Just think of what it would cost if they did have a BD Steelbook

Does anyone even shop at FYE anymore...I'm surprised every time I see my local FYE open as it always looks like a ghost town in there. I mean, when you look at their prices you know why...

...you would think they'd be smart enough to get these BD steels to jump start their sales and have something that others don't and justify their ridiculously high prices for BDs, but what do I know

I agree with you completely. The fact that FYE offers steelbooks is great, but they need to step into the 21st century and release BD version. Yes, the store is very expensive, but I know a group of people who would pay the price for American blu-ray steelbooks.

I need to take a pill before I pop a vein -- again!

I used to get new releases through their online site. With their backsatge pass and $7 blu rebates they would run about 18/19 dollars each. In addition pending what you spent they would have free shipping, another $5 or $10 off 40 or 50. Not too shabby. I bought at least 15 to 20 new releases and fot every rebate. Some I had to follow up on, but I still got them.
About amonth ago I noticed they had stopped all rebates. When I went into the store they said they were losing money. No more FYE I guess
