Any good sites that release BDs before street date? - Blu-ray Forum

I remember ordering once from Tower.com and receiving a BD a good week before it was actually released. Does anyone know any other sites that ship early?

I thought it depends on the movie/studios, not the site. Amazon sometimes does ship to me early.

I recently heard of DVDworldUSA and they manage to ship items out early... anyone order from them?

DVDPacific used to ship out orders weeks early. Whenever they got the title from the distributor, they shipped it. This was over a year ago, so they might have changed.

All of my pre-order purchases from Wherehouse.com have arrived a few days before actual release. I received The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly 3 days before official release, and Terminator 2 Skynet edition 2 days before

axelmusic, my favorite site for that, they ship as soon as they get the items, sometimes 2-3 weeks before street dates, no one can t beat them !lol(transformers shipped on 10th october, as i live in france i haven t received it yet, gen,generally it takes around two weeks to get delivered at my home)

DVD Planet in Illlinois usually ships out my Blu-Rays and Criterion DVDs a week before street date, but because of the international shipping, I don't get them until a week after street date anyway.

Tower.com had a huge fiasco last year supposedly some people were getting "already shipped" notices and things just went beserk. Think it was with the release of TDK?

It was Iron Man. They had shipped out the defective discs. No one knows if they actually shipped or if they put a stop on the delivery of the items.

Right on! I forgot about the defective discs. There was a huge thread about target shipping early.
