be sure to check your local craigslist or used website (ours is usedvictoria.com)

i've missed out on some sweet deals like lost season 1+2 for as low as $30 each.

of course you need to exercise a bit of caution. i always meet ppl in a public place (like my apartment lobby, their apartment lobby, a nearby store like RV or BBV, etc) and be sure to check the discs!

Go to your Hamilton BEAT GOES ON store.

You'll find plenty of choice.

They have a website that you can select titles and arrange for shipment to your nearest branch for pickup.

I have found great prices on eBay, especially when I buy numerous items off the same seller. However, there is a risk as some sellers seem to have no idea (or lie about) what "mint" and "like new" means. One time I won a "mint bluray" auction and the disc arrived with marker written codes on the disc itself (probably from a library or video store), scratches, dented box, and yellowed artwork. Ahhhh, eBay. Still, overall, I'm definitely in the plus column as I purchased numerous items below $10 shipped.

I also purchased some discs off Craig's list and Kijiji in Montreal. These were generally very quick and easy transactions as people are far less likely to lie in your face than they are from 2000 miles away.
