This fall i will be getting COD4 and MOH Airborne. I just need to know some details on COD4 multiplayer. How many maps, # players per server and etc... ?

It will have eleventy-billion different maps, each with up to 800 players per game.

I read that it will also have a "Dennis the Menace" mode where all 800 players are only using wooden sling-shots.

yeah I have no idea how many maps/players it will have, but do you really need to know this far in advance of the release date?

The only thing I think is true is that it supports 16 players (which is perfect IMO). I hear maps range from 26 to 40. So anyone can guess at this point.

i actually got to play the game 2 days ago. There was a Best Buy game and technology convention at the anaheim marriott. im an AV tech there so i was allowed inside and got to play it. The game is amazing sound effects game runs super smooth a must buy.

i dont think so it was running on a 360 i got to play UT3, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band, Grand Turismo 5, Rachet and Clank and i got 2 free movies at the BDA booth

The built it from the ground up for PS3, 360 and PC. That company is one of the best for a reason.

I asked the rep from Activision and he said they both are idenditcal only the PS3 looks a bit sharper and the colors are a bit better.

ive been playing the beta for over 2 weeks now and i must say..this game will be the shit

i have a ps3 and xbox..ill be buying it on xbox tho..just because other CODs have been better on the 360

There was a rumor going around that it will run 30 fps on the PS3, ala Madden. But the guy from Activision flatly denied it and guaranteed 60 fps. Good.
