Could someone tell me if the transfer on THE CROW (Japanese) is any good, I'd like to know before I commit myself into buying a copy

It's a great release, much better than the UK version.

It's such a shame to learn that there appears to be such a transfer difference between releases.
Is it really that hard to maintain a uniform process?

By the way it sais the Japanese verios is a REGION FREE disc, can some one confirm this please ?
