Does anyone know when the BD 1 disc version of the Wizard of Oz will be available in Canada? The collector's box set has too much extra stuff.

Warner Brothers never region codes titles even if they end up stepping on someone else's distribution rights.

Universal and Paramount caved and do support region codes on some titles: Bravehart and Step Up as examples.

^yea hes right, I say without hesitation its region free. Why not get the WM version, just as cheap by the time you convert currency and ship it

Looks like the 3 disc 'Emerald' edition, currently a Target exclusive, is set to be released on 12/01.

This is the same version I have (had a friend in the U.S. ship it to me). However, I could have sworn it was only a 2 disc set, not 3 discs - I'll have to double check what I have.
