Yeah its good....not "the scariest movie of all time" like its hyped up to be,but def creepy and will have you thinking about it after the movie ended.I know the Bluray is supposed to have several different endings on it so that will be a big selling factor for it. I cant believe they made the movie for 15,000 and it has already made 64 million....

I highly doubt that it will be out that quickly. It should be mid January or even early February. Definitely not end of December. Even though I would love that and Paramount has been releasing movies earlier and earlier.

Last Christmas Paramount squeezed out some surprise titles with relatively quick windows that didn't even come out on tuesdays, and look right now how quick GI Joe is coming out compared to it's theatrical release. I would not be surprised if they are doing this to capitalize on the current buzz and post-christmas giftcard spending. Of course that date could be wrong and it could be coming out in January instead for all I know.

Default no it's not good

it's a major let down this movie / your better off watching Trick R Treat although not scary atleast it was a fun movie / this movie was so bad me and my buddy who both work in tv and work with final cut pro and after effects were amazed at how simple and cheesy some of the effects were / i give the movie credit for great audio work and some of that was more freaky than anything but try renting this first before you blow 25 bucks

To all those that actually liked this movie, would you also post if you were one of "those people" who actually liked Blair Witch as well

I enjoy festival low budget movies, but not this, felt like BW all over again.

if you didn't either like this movie or weren't creeped out by it you must have no soul because this shit was freaky. one of the best and most creepy horror films of the decade. if you like Alfred Hitchcock horror films this is defiantly a must see. i dont know how people can compare this to the blair witch project. not even in the same league.

Pretty boring, only one part for about 2 min & 22 seconds was good. Other then that, movie was pretty much $hit

Rent it @ a RedBox, it's all it is worth

Not a knock against you but just a observation, I don't understand why people come out saying "well, that wasn't the scariest movie of all time like the commercial said", it's marketing. Would you market (again not against you ) your movie as 'moderately scary' or 'kinda tense and scary'? No, it's marketing guys. Oh yeah, I will definitely be picking this up. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and the fact that it was made so cheap and has been so successful while other films with astronomical budgets fail is another reason. Support the ones who deserve it.

I found the girl in this very grating, but as the move went on, it did get more and more creepy, and ultimately, very scary.

I loved Paranormal Activity, and yes, I am one of "those people" who liked Blair Witch.
I liked that Paranormal Activity was slow paced and didn't feel the need to show everything to the audience. I guess the backlash is coming because it wasn't a remake of an Asian film, didn't have a ghost girl with black hair covering her face, and asked the audience to sit through an original film and use their imagination.

Definitely not a let down. It was creepy and I enjoyed every bit of it. A few of my buddies were totally hyped up before the movie, watching the trailers and TV spots and they felt that the movie was not upto what they had expected. Too much of expectation spoils any movie (Exception being 'The Dark Knight' ).

On the subject of trailers, I went into Paranormal Activity blind. I hadn't seen any footage. All I knew was the behind-the-scenes stuff about the low budget, the grassroots movement to get a wide release, etc.

After seeing the movie, I watched the trailer and was relieved that I'd avoided it. It gives away way too much, including one of the final moments in the film.

I highly recommend it. Thought they did a great job with this low budget movie.
It is a little slower but I think that works in the movie's favor. Good old fashioned creepy movie.

I don't understand the haters of this movie?
I'd rather watch this movie over any of the other crap horror movies that have been out lately.
