Default Best Buy trip today...

So I hate buying movies at Best Buy cause of the price. But I had a $5 reward zone certificate, so I figured I would get troy. Well I got Troy and they had 2 movies that weren't due out til next week . Halloween and Dracula, so I got both. They didn't have the new Fantastic 4 though . And no I can't post pics, cause I'm at the ladys house for the night . But if I must I will tomorrow. Just thought I would tell anyone that wanted to make a trip to Best Buy.

BB is overpriced, true. The cheapest I can find BDs is either at Wal-Mart or Target. But the most expensive I've seen is F.Y.E. I saw Babel in there two days ago at $39.99. They actually had several at that price. Also, they had an end cap just for Blu-ray, but not a SINGLE HD DVD for sale anywhere.

Some people are finding early releases at Best Buy. I went today, but none of the movies scheduled for the 2nd were available yet.

I also bought Troy from BB because I had a $5 rewardzone cert, but they're definitely overpriced. Fry's has some decent prices for a brick & mortar shop. Wish I had one closer to me.

Best buy isn't too bad when the releases are new. I just posted a new thread about AC/DC for $16.95 and I bought Troy on it's release date for less than $1 above Amazon. I'm hoping for great prices on new releases like their other media.

My BBs must have slightly smarter people in that section. I've never seen anything early.

I used my last $5 off coupon to get My Name is Earl (season 1) on SD for $14.99.

Some BLUs at BB are priced okay, but many are way over normally.

When I went yesterday afternoon to the BBY near me, I saw Halloween, Evil Dead II, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead. I'm not buying any of them though until I see some reviews or at least rent one or two of them.

yes it true about printing out the prices from walmart.com the reason why they can match it is because you can have walmart ship it to your store for no charge in shipping. i do this all the time at my best buy in chicago. i even got plantent earth for around 59 with the price match. so go out and try it
