And I don't think from my reading that this includes the steering wheel (which has to be purchased separately) - PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG! And unfortunately, it doesn't include the female in the photos! SORRY!!

steering wheels start @ 250 and not included of course. $130 is just for the stand mount that you use to mount the wheel on instead of a desk/table. female sold seperately.

for those that don't know, fanatec is a big competitor to logitech in the simulation racing wheel world. logitech has the G25 and the newly released G27 with 6 speed H pattern shifters and clutch pedals for games like forza/GT5 for the realistic 6 speed + clutch driving experience. fanatec has several wheels that work with PC/PS3/360 using the porsche 911 design that also supports 6 speed + clutch. they are mainly known at the moment for being the first high end multi platform racing sim wheel with their newer products picking up the M$ licensing.

The cockpit is cool but way too expensive for my taste. The stand is a cheap alternative that will allow me to sit on the couch and play.

its too expensive for everyone's taste. for that price id want it to move and rumble. i think the company is developing a full motion rumbling vibrating cockpit too. thats going to be +10k surely.
