Exceptional list of components.
I Love Denon. They make some Outstanding Performing Components.

And the Definitive Technology Speakers are Beautiful and Outstanding Performers. The use of the Floorstanding Def Tech Bipoles for surrounds is Awesome.
Your Soundfield mist be amazing with the Bipolar Fronts and Surrounds.

And the A/V Cabinet is Georgous.
Incredible Finish but built to be a wonderful A/V Stand.

You have an Incredible Set-Up.Thanks for sharing.

Cool horn tweeters coming out of your fronts, but shouldn't they be facing forward?

Nice setup dood!

If you mean the BP8B's, I was experimenting with different positions. Since they are bipolar, it seems to give me a wider surround effect.

That is a nice cabinet, but what about when the doors are closed, can you control your devices with the remotes?

Good job...very clean. What's your opinion of the torchier lamps behind the speakers? It looks like you have low watt bulbs in them for a little ambient light. I'm thinking about doing something similar. Would love to get some feedback on how they work for you.

They have a IR Repeater from Salamander. Attaches to the back of the cabinet and enables remote use when the doors are closed. Might be something to consider later, but adds more cables.

The lamps work well with a 15 watt bulb. My previous set-up had a flourescent light. It was a little brighter. Viewing in the dark tends to fatigue my eyes after a while.

Fatigue isn't much of a factor for me. I've found that my LCD's picture (specifically black levels) is much better with ambient lighting, but room limitations prevent track lighting or other options. I've been considering putting in lamps like you did and was curious how they work out for you. Thanks!

Very nice! Is that a third party back or was it made specifically for your cabinet by the manufacturer?

It was from Salamander. They have the same panel without the fans for about half the price.

The fan setup for the back of the cabinet...did you make that or where did you get it?

The panel with the fans was an optional feature from the manufacturer. It also extends the back of the cabinet. They have the same thing without the fans if you don't worry about heat.

Your new cabinet looks great! I think you have a great combination of gear - I've always loved Denon.

I bet your system sounds great!

Decided to get rid of the rear surrounds. The sound was fine, but the congestion and awkwardness of the set-up annoyed me. Purchased new shelving for the Cds, DVDs, and Blu-rays.
