The special effects look pretty awesome. But as far as the story, acting, direction, etc. go, I'm more than a little concerned.

Whew!--I'm not the ONLY one who still confuses Emmerich's ID4 with Michael Bay's "Armageddon", and can't remember who directed which!

(And I still say we've never seen the two directors in the same place at the same time...)

That guy is such an overly deliberate marketing package, it bugs the heck out of me. The "hair", the eyeliner, the lipstick, the fingernail polish, and the "rugged" outfit that some costume designer (wisely) chose to cover up his portly midriff. Ughhhhh

this video showed some cool new scenes, love that wave

Hopefully that will not be the song which will play during the end credits of the movie. I liked the song and even thought this guy had a pretty good voice but HE looks like he should be singing for a remake of "The Night of the Living Dead" or something similar. Personally, I hope the end credits end with just an impressive orchestral theme! Just MHO!

Actually his new look is considerably toned back compared to his old look.
