Canada Tears of the Sun - Why Such a Big Price Difference?

I see that Amazon.com is selling Tears of the Sun for $12.99 USD while Amazon.ca is selling it for $28.99 CAD. At the local Best Buy it is retailing for $28 CAD as well. Even with the exchange this is quite a large price difference. Not sure what the shipping costs are but I would think that adding that in would bring the U.S. Amazon price close to the Canadian one. I'm wondering why the price at the local Best Buy is so much more then the U.S. price. I quess I'll just wait for this one to go on sale.

I never quite figured out why there's such a huge price diff either...

Speaking for myself, I will never pay $30 for a bluray film.
That is just insanity.

Population size. US has such a bigger population that their lower price is offset by more people buying their products. The more people that buy their products, the easier it is to lower the price. Doesn't hurt everyone does business in the American dollar and our dollar isn't as strong.

Picked it up at Best-Buy for $19.99. They lowered the price from the last time I was in.
