Default Warner: Bring the greatest trilogy on bd !!!!!

The Godfather?
(big laugh).
No, please.
(serious).

We need MAD MAX (1) and MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME on Blu-Ray. Why? Because they are the greatest movies of all time, along with THE ROAD WARRIOR. And we already purchased #2, impressive job, Warner.

Thank you, Warner. Hurry up, Miller is working on a fourth chapter that will blow decades of silly movies apart.

While I agree wholeheartedly that we need both of these films on Blu-ray, I think Warner only has the rights to The Road Warrior (already available) and Beyond Thunderdome. The original film I believe was MGM, so I presume maybe it would be distributed by Fox?

The original film was released in the States by AIP, who were bought by Orion, who has since gone bankrupt. MGM bought their library.

Now that Fox is distributing MGM titles on home video, the OP should probably direct his post towards them.

Warner only controls parts 2 and 3 now.

Perfect. I will drop a mail to FOX. Let's hope the remastering will be decent. MM1 was shot on the cheapest film stock available... the movie only costed 350.000 Aussie dollars.
