Yesterday I got Fight Club on Blu-ray and there was a trailer for a couple of DreamWorks/FOX features.. including a trailer for Road to Perdition on Blu-ray

And let me tell ya, from the looks of the trailer the transfer is marvellous.. very fine grain

A great mvoie that I must buy. My wife lent the DVD to somebody,and it was never returned.

Perfect excuse to replace it with a superior BD

Also the op is in Europe I think, not sure but his copy of Fight Club looked like it had a sticker in Dutch on the cover. But I would imagine the trailers will be the same for our U.S. release.
This is great news, and can't wait to see what this looks like on BD.

Exactly what I was going to post. Potentially the first BD I'll be purchasing regardless of the review on here because I'm such a big fan, but I'd like to know ahead of time whether or not it's a stellar transfer.

Love this movie. You know, the eerie soundtrack really did a lot to influence mood on this movie. I absolutely loved it and will be looking forward to picking it up on release.

Road to Perdition would make an amazing digibook release. Shame Fox doesn't do those.

I think digibooks are catching on, and wouldn't be surprised if Fox jumps into the game -- maybe not this title, but give it time.

ROAD TO PERDITION is one of the most beautifully photographed films these eyes have ever seen -- and will be perfect for blu ray...

A day one purchase, can't wait.

This is a very good movie and one of my favorites. Will be a nice addition to my collection.

One of my favorites with classic performances, fantastic score, and gorgeous cinematography. It's going to be a day one purchase for me but one thing I'm confused about. I thought Dreamworks was owned by Paramount so wouldn't it be a Paramount film even if Fox did international distribution? Anyway I hope soon is soon and did it list a release date?

Ive never seen the movie for some reason. I do own a full screen dvd of it though

The OP is said to be from Europe so which means this film is being released in Bluray there under Fox. I may be mistaken but this is not really a confirmation that North America will be getting a release soon.

Love the movie too as it just has great performances (Jude Law's depiction of a rat-like hitman, Stanley Tucci's portrayal of Frank Nitti, Paul Newman's performance as a conflicted mob boss and father to a cowardly son played amazingly by Daniel Craig).
