Default iPod Touch Security Apps

Okay so I just bought myself a iPod touch and I was browsing through the applications when I came across several apps that were for security. You can store your credit card numbers, passwords and stuff like that. Some were free, others went from $0.99 to $9.99. I wanted to get people opinions and even feedback; if people have purchased these apps, on what they thought about it. Do you think they are safe? Would you use them? And so on.

Nope.

I wish I could help. I would imagine reviews would be helpful for you on the actual apps. I would be weary of ones that don't have a good rating, cause I would think it could be fairly easy to make one that automatically sends these people info without you knowing it...

thats the thing, I read something were the devs were giving themselves good feedback.

that's what I am afraid of. One of them said that it was backed by the US dept of Commerce, but I dont know.

I just wouldn't be excited about storing my credit card numbers/passwords in an application. What's so bad about pulling out your wallet when you need it? Seems way more safe to me.

I would think if they were encrypted good enough you would be ok... but it's kind of iffy.

No there's nothing wrong with that, I was just thinking of convenience. But I agree with you

Yeah, I mean they could just type that.

The more I think about it, the more I think it would in fact be a bad idea
