I have to say the Paramount deal hurt blu-ray but not that much TBH, look at the videoscan weekly report their was 1 week we really hurt but we still beat HD-DVD, and we are returning to the sales level we had b4 Paramount left Blu-Ray...

now add in BD players that are dirt cheap, and the sale figures would probably be something like europe which has sales of 4:1, with the Christmas season Blu-ray is bound to expand very fast.
