Release date for Chaw? - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know if there is a blu ray release date for the korean Chaw flick? I saw there was a German release called Kliefer. I only see a dvd release on Yesasia and it is region 3 locked, ugh.

There's no Korean Blu-ray. That's probably because they aren't that big on the format yet. I guess your best bet is the German Blu-ray if it isn't region locked.

I've learned that the German Blu-ray of Chaw is German or Korean audio only. That would be great with English subtitles, BUT no English subs...Korean only.

Well, I lived in Germany for three years (2003 - 2006) and I can tell you that it is really rare for a non-English film to get English subtitles on their releases in Germany. I picked up the German DVD of Jackie Chan's New Police Story and it only has German and Chinese audio with removable German subtitles only. The German studios would add like German DTS tracks to films like The Machinist which has just a regular 5.1 track for the English audio.
