I have no idea what these numbers mean on the tv box. Is there a difference?? The plasma I use is 60hz, but if I go with a LCD, should I upgrade to the 240?

Plasma has a much faster response time than LCD, so it doesn't need the extra refresh rate to compensate for motion lag. If you want to upgrade, consider the 96Hz-capable V10 plasma series from Panasonic or try and find a 72Hz-capable plasma from Pioneer. These two plasma's will outperform almost all the 240Hz LCD sets on the market in key areas of picture quality such as motion resolution, actual contrast ratio, black levels, etc. |

According to DisplayMate, the motion interpolation used by these displays does not improve motion blur on their test material. They admit that when watching normal broadcast it does appear to make a difference, but it didn't impact their tests.

This isnt a problem. I do alot of gaming and yes, you get a little IR but not burn in. IR goes away when you refresh the screen, which all games do...
