Definitely better than any standard sleeves with joining on the spine - that looks really bad on the shelf...
Im thinking of buying some, can you please upload a detailed pic of a few steelbooks you have with this slip cover on it, many thanks!

Here's a Steel with a sleeve on it, displayed on my shelf (Gladiator has a sleeve on, the rest of the SBs don't - to show you how hardly noticeable the sleeve is).
And some photos of a sleeve without a Steel inside

^ Cheers for the photos! They look really good, actually... it looks like they came with the steels, like the steel slipcase for some xbox games. Will get some soon!

Didn't realise the french title for crank was hyper tension. had a bit of a chuckle with that one. :P

The funny thing about it is when the movie starts and the opening titles are played the title is "Hyper Tension" there too But the rest of the movie is fully English.

Thanks roach!

The slip covers look like there quality, will be picking some up soon, esecialy for my ps3 steelbooks! Some of them came with plastic slipcovers, but the others didnt, so this will make them all match up on the shelf.

Its a shame they dont cover the bottom! That would make this a must buy!

I just went ahead and bought the 100 pack from shop4tech. LeAnn gave me some for my movies, and I just use tape to close the flap. I plan on putting a sleeve on all my BD movies.

The best way to protect a Steelbook is to keep it sealed, store it in a shelf and never take it back.

Best way ever.

Thanks for all the suggestions to protect our steels, especially since I have a nasty habit of actually opening and watching mine. I decided to order a 100 pack from Bags Unlimited. I just received them, and I'm very happy...and so is my IAL.

Default Protection for Jumbo Steels?

Has anyone found any bags or something else to put the Jumbo Steels in? I was thinking maybe a Comic Book Bag would fit, although a bit too large.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Why waste money renting the movie when all you have to do is open the SteelBook?

I think I've heard a ziploc bag works, but I haven't tried it. I will be converting my jumbos into thin versions.
