I'm just surprised that someone owns one of these babies close to me. With that, I am not surprised he crashed it.. I don't think anyone who owns one of these would talk on the phone while driving one.

He was using a cell phone while behind the wheel of a 1001 hp vehicle on public roads? The driver gets no sympathy from me. Darn shame about the Veyron though; it deserved a better owner.

If I recall an episode of Top Gear, Clarkson couldn't get insurance on it during a race throughout Europe. Lets just hope things have changed.

Why hope for that?

I hope for the opposite, due to the fact that the moron dropped his cell phone {which he really shouldn't have been talking on in the first place} and instead of stopping the car to grab it, he takes a header into a pond.

Personally, I hope he didn't have insurance, that'll learn him a very important life lesson*
