Thirst release date for the States? - Blu-ray Forum

Is there going to be a blu ray for Thirst in the States anytime soon? If someone knows I would love to know. I know there will be a UK one but that will be B locked I am sure.

Ok, simple rule here; if you don't see an announcement, then it's not coming to Blu-ray anytime soon. Buy a Region All player and get it from the UK if you want it in HD.

Since the DVD announcement has been out for awhile now I am strongly feeling we wont be getting a blu version anytime soon sadly.

It's still always possible. No, I won't expect anytime soon either, but someone will release it eventually. Korea's going to have to get into the bluray mix sooner or later too.

It will come eventually. The dvd did, and OldBoy has already been released. I expect to hear something by the end of the year.

With Kim Ok-Bin's new movie out (The Villainess - Lots of gore in this one). I hope that the blu-ray director's cut of Thirst would be released in North America so that we could see more of her of her work. Sorry the normal release was definitely not smooth and long enough! Also she would be great in a rom-com.

I say no way it's going to happen. It's been 8 years. The best thing would have been to get the Korean version when it was available.

P.S. I did buy The Villianess yesterday and look forward to watching it.
