Holy Crap! I've been waiting for this movie for a long time. The opening assault on the beach should definately push my system

If no U.S./CAN release is announced, I'm definately ordering this one

I hope they don't mess up the sound / the picture. If they don't, the opening scene will be the best sound equipment test on BR.

This WILL make it into my collection, no matter who releases it and where

I make a point of watching this each and every Remembrance Day here in Canada to pay a homage to my dear Great Uncle who fought at Normandy during the "D" Day landings and survived...

I really hope this doesn't have forced German subtitles, nothing is more frustrating that a release with forced subtitles. If they aren't forced, I will be importing this bad boy.

yeah. Blu-Ray.com told me. It's on the front page.

to be fair, it's speculation...but seeing that its coming out in Germany in Feb, I'd imagine that lends credence to the source.

I'm not putting any stock in that until we get a press release. At this point it is nothing more than a rumor.
