HDAV/BDAV/HDMV/BDMV authoring - Blu-ray Forum

I am wondering if any of the 'free' tools that come with the BD burner drives actually work for authoring HDV to BDAV discs (or whatever they are calling them these days).

So far I have found that the Ulead tools are not working well or at all.

Was there something that shipped with the Sony drive that actually works?

I am not ready to get Scenarist yet

the Cyberlink BD Solution that comes with the Sony burner WILL put HDV into the BDAV folder on a Blu-Ray Disc. The Sammy player won't play it, but I suspect that is the player's problem....I'll know more if a few weeks when my Sony player arrives. No menu for BDAV though....for menus in the BDMV way, you will need purchased software - hopefully soon from Adobe et all.
