What is your favorite trilogy?

I was just wondering with so many great trilogies out there, what is your favorite one? Not the BEST, but favorite.

I like Resident Evil, American Pie, Back To The Future, Blade, The Mummy, Indiana Jones, The Matrix, and Transformers (Future reference)

between Godfather and Star Wars IV-VI...you could ask me this on 10 different days and I'd give you 10 different answers...

honorable mention to LOTR, but i was 7-10 years old when Empire and Return of the Jedi came out, so just had a huge impact on me as a kid. Even though we lived in a very remote village, my cousin had copies of episodes V and VI and we'd watch them 24/7.

i chose godfather because the best trilogy of all time isn't on here!! Ingmar Bergman's faith trilogy!! and what about Rainer Werner Fassbinder's BRD trilogy???

Indiana Jones and Star Wars are no longer trilogies considering they contain more than three films.

So with that said, I'll go with The Matrix Trilogy.

There are way more "trilogies" that needs to be mentioned.
Chan-wook Park's revenge trilogy, although they are more like theme trilogies, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy & Lady Vengeance.
Steven Spielberg's running man trilogy, AI, Catch Me If You Can & Minority Report.
And much likely more, but that is of course debatable.
But I voted LOTR, a fantastic job of creating a believable fantasy world, totally astonishing.
