Default Weird lines on tv when on "game mode"

Ok so i've had my Plasma for 10 days or so and when I have game mode on some of my screen ends up with weird lines. Its like when i'm moving directions the top of the screen tries to catch up to the rest of the screen but isn't able to keep up. Is my TV defective or would calibration fix the problem? I'm set up for calibration for this coming monday but I'm unsure if it'll fix the issue. Can anyone help me ?

calibration is for your contrast brightness gamma etc not anything your experiencing i would have to ask before going any further 1 what type of gaming system its settings and hookup and also is it going to your set directly or to an avr first?

Well the Tech came over a few days ago and said my processor was out of whack and recommended me to get a new tv. The new TV should be here on Saturday I'm running my PS3 on the TV.
