Citizen Kane Blu-ray planned for 70th Anniv in 2011? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm dying to add this to my collection as a well deserved double dip. I read about it being planned for release during it's 70th anniversary on Blu-ray in 2011 on HiDefDigest HERE, but does anyone have any further news or new confirmations?

That's the last news, really. Look for it on blu-ray in the next 12-18 months.

This is old news pretty much. Heard about this in 2008.

Easy double dip. Hoping they give it the monster box set treatment like GWTW & WOO. Maybe packaged in a small sled? LOL

Yeah, no new news on this title since that "70th anniversary" rumor so long ago. And that isnt exactly reliable news considering Ben-Hur was supposed to come out THIS YEAR, and it hasn't.

But dont worry kids you will still be getting your collectors editon of Avatar along with the serparate 3d version which is blu ray player exclusive

They are working on Citizen Kane and it's scheduled to come out in 2011.

Then we can all cry: Rosebud!

I think it's a great film. Says a lot about America in 1941 that's still true today.
