Okay, so I ordered this title off Amazon.co.uk because I liked the movie and it was dead cheap.

This edition contains the unrated extended cut of the movie (albeit a quite... unsual one) with 20 minutes more footage. A note of caution, unlike the Amazon cover states, there is only one disc in the package, and at the spot where there's the "2-Disc Extreme Edition" it's simply written "Full Throttle Edition". Oh and the video seems to be open matted to 1.78:1, not like the original 1.85:1.

I just wanted to let you guys know that this UK release included a lossless audio track (DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1) on the unrated cut, whereas the UK version did not. Which could always be something that might interest someone out there.

The US release has both the 109 minute R rated version and the Unrated 129 minute version via seamless branching - you chose which version you want at the main menu. But yeah, it only had Dolby Digital audio. It is cheap - £7.98, and even less when shipped to addresses outside the EU and VAT is removed. I only rented it here in the US, and like it more than I thought I would. I'll put this in my "basket" and include it in my next order from Amazon UK. Thanks for the tip!

No problem. Glad I could help.

And yeah, the main menu let's you choose what version of the movie you want, I haven't tested for seamless branching between the cuts.

Don't watch the Unrated version first. While funny, it's not a proper movie, merely a massive spoof of so called Unrated versions.

Oh but I'd seen the original cut first. You're right in saying the Unrated version is unproper, it kind of ruined it. Even if the intro is dead funny, the ad libs and outtakes integrated into the movie felt out of place.

A warning to those who want this "full-throttle" edition. It looks like utter shit. It's been compressed into oblivion.

I'm not expert, but anyone could tell how bad this looks. It's closer to upscaled DVD than a good looking Bluray.

No the Full-Throttle edition is the UK release.

Could not agree less! Watching the unrated cut on the uk disc and its got a great pic! 30mbps+, too!

I have the US version and visually it’s really great. Do wish it had the Hd audio track, but it’s not bad.
