OPPO BDP-83 will not play my Terminator Salvation Blu-ray - Blu-ray Forum

Hi just asking if some one has had the same thing Terminator Salvation Blu-ray will not go from the top menu to let you play the movie it will work on my PS3 but not on my OPPO BDP-83 Blu-ray Player at all and all my old blu rays will work and the new star trek works on it but not Terminator Salvation

Terminator Salvation? I thought this movie doesn't come out until 12/1/09?

You are correct Terminator Salvation is officially released on December 1st. Some people that write reviews for movies sometimes receive the movie a few weeks before the release date.
Also once and a while a retail store or mail order company will by mistake or on purpose sell the movie a week or two before release date.
I have not tried this title but if this thread is correct I hope OPPO has a firmware update by December 1st or a few days before to fix the problem.

Just to let you no this is from OPPO We have received similar complaints and are looking into future resolutions.

In the meanwhile, have you tried disabling BD Live and clearing the cache? That has been an effective work-around for a couple previous problem discs.
