insignia remote situation - Blu-ray Forum

i have a insignia player and when i use the remote to turn it on it resets my samsung tv settings to factory. i have to go back and reset all settings again. this even happens when i use the eject button. i check the manual found nothing. also the remote looks just like my samsung remote. has anybody had this problem or is it a setting i must change on player or tv...

please help......

Don't know if this will help, but I would suggest turning off all HDMI CEC settings for your tv and player.

i'll try that but do i have to do this after every movie..
