Default Surround Speaker Wall Mounts? Help!! (with pic)

I have two satellite speakers for my surround

When I first installed it, I just bought the cheap wall mount from best buy. You can't really see from the pic but one of the speaker mount is starting to come out of the wall!! Can anyone give me some advice, like recommend good speaker mounts for satellite speakers and maybe how to reinforce it better?

I'm no expert, but I think drilling into a stud would be your first thing to try. If that doesn't work use a Molly Bolt or Toggle Bolt to secure them to the wall.

B-Tech 33's ($14-16) or B-Tech 77's ($58.99) from AMAZON. The 1st ones will prob. be Perfect for your smaller Rear speakers, as the B-Tech 77's are Seriously Heavy-Duty & possibly over-kill for your situation. In one of my Early Gallery's you can see them in action. They're Very well-made & Rock solid. I used them for my Polk Audio Monitor 30's & they Easily held them up. But as noted, the 33's look to be better for you.

Well I forgot to mention how I have it wired. I used the flat "ghost" wire and I passed it through a small tube as you can see here:

This is the one I am having problems with:

hey loco, that last picture, i think you need a "toggle" type anchor. that conical anchor you used is not the right type. notice it's coming out of the wall at the highest most point? because of that angle, most of the stress starts to affect the uppermost anchor because of the tilt you have on the speaker. i recommend trying a toggle type anchor and you will be fine.

+1 on the toggle bolt suggestion.

I use them to hang up my guitars and I do a lot of pulling off and putting back on. Never had one come lose. They sell for about 3.99 a pack of 4.

You can also use Snap toggle bolt I hooked up my QS8's with these last night.

Forget about screw anchors. You can buy a box of these Toggle Bolts for a few dollars from Home Depot/Lowes or Wal-Mart.
