Being a hardcore Sons fan since episode 1, I just am blown away by the incredible writing and acting in every episode. Each is better than the last. Next week will be incredible, I sure did see a lot going down in that preview. Based on what was shown I assume 2 things:
With the guilt of Donna's death obviously weighing too heavy on Tig's mind, he is going to confess to Opie what he did. This must be why we see Opie beating the hell out of Tig against the tow truck. My thoughts are that Tig will take full responsibility for the murder leaving Clay's name out of it. With Opie not wanting to see anymore blood shed, even at the hands of his wife's murder, because Opie is a great club brother I could see him letting Tig live, but maybe force Tig to go Nomad in exchange for his life. Also, we can clearly see Opie sitting up on the garage roof with John Teller's manuscript. So I would assume season 2 is all about the discovery of John's ideals and the direction the club should go. With finally having some resolution over Donna's death, he may fully be able to get his head straight and stop taking so many risky moves. I think Lyla has been good for Opie in getting him back to being a father again. Even if it does seem way too soon to be moving in, i think we are at about 4-5 months since Donna's death storyline wise right now. Either way, I know Sutter and company will not disappoint and I am fully looking forward to a hellacious time over the final 3 episodes. |

This last episode was nothing short of EPIC!! Plenty of highs and lows, not to mention the bombshell that was finally dropped. I'm quite impressed with this season's writing, it really has had me want to keep watching. I can't wait for next week, yet sad that it's the finale and have to wait for more. It's good to see the writers made the show better.

I thought it was a Great Finale', though I really wanted to see Clay get that smoke shop owner, like Jr. got Henry Rollins's character. Not sure what they're going to do about that Gemma on-the-lamb situation.

Well I would say it was a nice ending to set up season 3. Looks like Jax and Clays bond will grow stronger in the upcoming season probably ending in Jax having to choose between killing Ope or Clay. And that ATF chick is a dirty rotten b***h for setting up Gemma like that. Hopefully shell get whats coming to her. Anyone know when season 3 will be?? If I had to guess I would say sometime this Summer.

They say it is just a technicality that they have not greenlit, but they are owned by Fox, so I worry. Probably needlessly. It has had great ratings for a cable show so it is doing well.

Hell Yea!! The season finale was F'n E P I C. When the mayans and sons were on opposite sides of the street just waiting with the cops as barricades I yelled 'That's awesome!'. The whole show was great, I'm REALLY looking forward on how the Jax plot line will run, that's going to be the guts of the next season, I feel. The set up with the ATF chick, man, I have nothing but distaste for her, she is one evil *****.
It is good to see clay and jax on the up and up, and I really wouldve liked zobel get his, the way he truly derserved. Henry Rollins played a great character, and the scene with him ended perfectly. Here's to next September boys!!! |

It seems to be becoming an annual event with Agent Stahl. She lies, and then an innocent party dies. Last year it was Donna, this year it looks like poor Half Sack will never get his patch. She'll get hers eventually, and it's gonna be quite the payoff.
Loved the ending. It makes you want the next season to start RIGHT NOW, like every good season finale should. Between the kidnapped baby and Gemma being on the lamb, the writers have given themselves legitimate reasons for putting off the inevitable Jax/Clay "final showdown" for awhile. And it all works, IMO. And personally, I loved that Zobell got away. He's a great villain, and his survival was completely unexpected and adds another layer of suspense to the show. Wait until he finds out what happened to his daughter.... EDIT: He already knows. Still, I can't wait to see what his ultimate response will be. Oh, and let's not forget the unfinished business with Tom Arnold's character. So much to look forward to! Last edited by Ator the Invincible; 12-04-2009 at 01:51 PM. |
