Anyone got this on BR?

(The one with Steve McQueen and one of the best all time car chases ) I was debating whether to get it or not.

Would the quality be better on BR despite it being an old classic?

The PQ on the BD version is quite poor. Don't waste your money.

Bullit looks good on daylight scenes, low light scenes seem smoothied.

I thought it looked pretty good to me, and that's with 1080i. The colors really pop out. Check out some of the fashion of that era, it really shows up nice. If you're not sure, just netflix it or something, but I thought it was fine.

considering its taken from 40 year old film, its quite good. obviously better than DVD quality, but don't expect Pirates grade PQ.
